Land Clearing Cost Calculator for Frisco and North Texas
A budgeting range for clearing, brush, mulching and stumps, built on published cost sources, with no contact details required.
Typical budgeting range
$1,200 to $8,000
Clearing about 1 acre.
Per acre
$2,500 to $4,500
Per acre, moderate vegetation.
Add-on
Silt fence, if needed (per linear foot, large public projects): $3.50 to $5.00 (short runs on one lot can cost more per foot)
Mixed brush and medium trees usually fall in the middle of this range.
North Texas pricing we reviewed falls in the same range.
In Frisco, removing trees needs a permit unless the land is a platted single-family or duplex lot, and protected trees (6 inches and up) carry replacement of 100 to 300 percent of the inches removed. The City sets the cash value per inch each year.

How the calculator works
Each range is a published figure shown with its source. Land and lot clearing uses HomeGuide's national table by property size from an eighth of an acre to five acres, plus its per-acre ranges for light, moderate and heavily wooded vegetation. Brush clearing and forestry mulching use HomeGuide's per-acre ranges, multiplied by the acreage you enter up to ten acres; forestry mulching keeps its open upper end because the source does. Stump grinding uses HomeGuide's first-stump and additional-stump figures, with a per-inch figure when you give a width. Disposal lines use the North Texas Municipal Water District's gate rates and the City of Plano's Custer Road yard-waste rate, and the Frisco note uses the City's roll-off rule and tree permit rule.
The calculator does not apply a Frisco multiplier, because no published local adjustment exists for this work. Public brush contracts in TxDOT's Dallas district are shown for context. A real price comes from walking the property: access, wet ground, stump size and what happens to the debris. The land clearing cost guide and what a land clearing quote should include explain each factor, and Homestead Land Clearing scopes the work in writing before a price.
